Sushiya in Escondido

Used to be even better, but still a good place for a good tasting, somewhat inexpensive sushi bite. Look for the 50% off rolls. You can eat really well anytime of the day for much less if you stick to them. Cool sushi chef's! My daughter commented how much she liked the "sun" that came with the rainbow roll and they brought out what is in my pic.

Food was delicious! Busy restaurant. Nice experience.

Everyone is very friendly. The food is great. It's a great place to go with family and or friends.

Bento plate is good but would like to be able to add the seasame chicken instead of teriyaki option.

Pretty standard sushi spot. There are a lot of twists on the already twisted sushi rolls. They do have a great 50% deal on some rolls. My favorite was the only with tempura fried crawfish.....those little critters are tasty!!!

Always tasty, been there a dozen times in 3 years, arguably not the finest Sth is 60 yr sushi dinning veteran has ever had, still nothing to sneeze at either. Wonderful Uni, nice Bluefin, Saba was very fresh tasting, Hamachi seemed to be the sushi I’d have seconds of. I’ve always enjoyed the staff, prompt service, as was the delivery of the order. Great, inexpensive place to get sushi! Normal wait time but tables could use more thorough cleaning. While the host up front was very friendly, and the sushi rolls, appetizer and soup were tasty, our waitress looked like she resented having to wait on tables and was not very attentive. Still come back because I usually order to-go most of the time, and the rolls are what matter to me!

Average, good to get if your around the area

This is my daughter and my favorite spot for a sashimi raid. We get the chef's choice 20 piece and an extra salad and soup. Very delicious. They take great care of you and I've never had a bad meal here. Also macroons! My youngest daughter (14) loves the green ones....macadamia I think?

Very slow service, food is okay but for some reason the Sushiya off of Nordahl road in San Marcos is 10x better 🤣🤣🤣 I’d recommend that one over the Escondido location any day. I’m really not sure what it is with this place, do not go here if you’re craving bomb sushi it’s always been mediocre at best.

One of my fav places for delicious Sushi. The food was so savory. Looking forward to coming back with my friends. The place has a cool atmosphere.

We love hanging out. Last night we came to this fine place which friends recommended to us. We passed a delightful experience there with delicious meal and a well-trained stuff and a professional cook. We put this fine restaurant in our list and we shall definitely return very soon. Highly recommended.

Food quality is amazing. The menu is extensive. The wait staff is a little inexperienced but friendly. This is a pretty regular staple of my week.

I love the lunch specials here. The Kalbi special is my favorite. It would be great if they had ramen soup options on their menu.

The crunchy rolls were delicious. I also ordered mixed tempura entree & they forgot sauce but it was still good.

Pretty nice place. Awesome chefs. I would recommend sitting at the bar as the chefs will crack jokes with you as they are making your rolls. Prices are good. Will defiantly be checking this place out again.

Great sushi!! The lunch special is really good, and super filling. I recommend the Mario Roll... it was tasty.

The food was ok, but service and restaurant ambience lacked luster in a big way. With the choice of sushi places around town, this is not somewhere I'd need to come back to!
